Today, July 3, community initiative “Restoring Donbas” has launched a hotline for IDPs and Donbas residents. This decision was made, primarily, due to the increasing number of citizens, who apply about the modifications in procedure of crossing the border of ATO zone.
Apart from the topic about crossing the demarcation line, “Restoring Donbas” consults IDPs and Donbas residents with regard to wide range of issues. Wherein, the emphasis is placed on legal consulting. This decision was made due to the demand for legal services on-line consultation on the organization’s website restoring-donbass.com. Volunteer lawyers have worked up more than 200 questions during 3 months.
Taking into account the large number of requests, we decided to place a special emphasis on this area of work. The last “pros” argument was an appeal of the volunteer organization with the entreaty to address people to our website with the hot line, “- said Elena Petryaeva, the head of “Restoring Donbas”.
According to the head of the community initiative, the second priority for the hotline is psychological counseling due to the fact that nowadays this field is lost by state structures.
Hotline numbers “Restoring Donbas” operate from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, there are three mobile operators (for convenience’ sake) – (+38095) 132-00-22, (+38063) 132-00-22, (+38098) 132-00-22. In addition, you can find online chat system (on our website), which quickly provides the relevant information to users. If it is necessary, it can get in touch with operator consultant.
Putting, in remembrance, online legal consulting for IDPs and ATO residents has been operating on the interactive platform “Restoring Donbas” since April 2015. The most common legal collisions and difficulties with government agencies are connected with financial issues (nuances of salaries, pensions, benefits and compensation, issues of bank deposits and loans, debt for utility services) and registration and issuance of documents (the loss/obtaining of passports/ID number, registration of civil status acts).
