“Restoring Donbas” delivered assistance to the medical institutions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions

This week, on January 25-26, the mobile group of volunteers of the community initiative “Restoring Donbas” delivered charity assistance to three medical institutions of Donetsk and Luhansk region. It was reported by Inna Mishina – the head of the Center of the advisory help to IDPs in Kiev.
Regional Hospital for War Veterans in Svyatogorsk (Donetsk region), Research Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University in Krasny Liman (Donetsk region) and Central City Hospital behalf of Titov in Lisichansk (Luhansk region) were provided with assistance by initiative.
The list of objects of charitable assistance includes pillows, blankets, bedding sets, household goods, refrigerators and chairs. The total value of the goods, which were delivered, amounted almost UAH 180 thousand.
According to Elena Petryaeva (the head of the initiative), such decision was made due to extremely difficult situation in healthcare area in the East, caused by breaking the links between health institutions as well as the influx of IDPs to Donbas cities, which under Ukrainian control.
“We believe that there is nothing more important than a human life. Therefore, those, who help to save it in present circumstances, will receive maximum help and support from us,” – she added.
Let us remind, since November 3, 2015, Center of advisory help to IDPs in Kev (created by community initiative «Restoring Donbas») has launched permanent issuance of charitable assistance to internally displaced persons from Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
