The volunteers of Restoring Donbas Initiative together with the experts of Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Centre of emergency medical care and disaster medicine of Health Ministry of Ukraine supported by Health Department of Donetsk Regional State Administration and Mariupol city council completed two-days trainings on mine safety in Mariupol.
Alyona Tereshchenko, the volunteer of Restoring Donbas, shared with the modern approaches to complex psychological assistance to victims in emergency situations, including the mine-explosive injuries. The algorithms of pre-medical assistance for primary care physicians and doctors of emergency medical aid were presented by the experts and trainers form Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Center of emergency medical care and disaster medicine of Health Ministry of Ukraine on the basis of № 2 Mariupol city hospital. More than 200 doctors from Mariupol and nearby towns attended two training sessions.
Kids from № 68 Mariupol school and Children and Youth Creativity Club also were taught mine safety as they live to close to contact line and acknowledged with hostilities. Need to admit that more than 500 kids now know about mine safety.
The next trainings will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 in Volnovakha, Donetsk region.
