Ukrainian public and human rights organizations drew the Government’s attention to the problems of internally displaced persons by setting on the presentation entitled “Groysman, open your eyes to the problems of IDPs!”. The objective of the rally is ‘100 days of the Cabinet of Ministers alternative report’ regarding the programs for IDPs. It was also planned to hand over the book to Vladimir Groysman with 100 stories of IDPs affected by the state policy that human rights activists consider inhumane and discriminatory. In addition, the participants of this campaign ask for personal meeting with the Prim-Minister to discuss №365 Resolution dated 8 June 2016 due to which a number of IDPs lost their social benefits.
Vitaly Muschinin, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, attended the rally said that the Ministry made every effort to solve the problems of IDPs..
The Ministry of Social Policy is monitoring the situation with payments suspension and think what to do next. The help of human rights activists would be much appreciated in managing the problems but not interfere in the case, – he said.
