The deputies of Ukraine once again could not vote for a number of bills to solve the problems of IDPs from Donbas and the Crimea. Today, the agenda of the morning session of the Verhovna Rada included consideration of five so-called “resettlement” bills concerning internally displaced persons.
The Deputies had to resolve the issue of paying for utilities, providing free of charge food to IDP children in educational institutions, granting the right to temporary social housing and other laws important for internally displaced people.
However, Oksana Syroid, the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada closed the morning session ahead of schedule after representatives of the police entered the session hall. Oksana Syroid explained her actions by the fact that in the session hall during the plenary session only deputies had the right to be.
