Virtually all contact telephone numbers, working within ATO in Donbas and posted on the Security Service of Ukraine website, are not available to citizens. Writes journalist Maxim Kopachevskii in his blog on the “Restoring Donbas” website.
In proof of his statement, the author presents a real-time video on which he is trying to get through to each of the numbers, listed on the SSU website.
“During the whole week I managed to get through to only one out of 18 telephone numbers, listed on the website – the SSU hotline. But even there I did not get my answer, “- writes Kopachevskii.
The journalist says that all his calls were either addressing telephone numbers that were temporarily unavailable or that ended with waiting beeps without answer. “There were two answering machines – one of them was filled with messages, the second one recorded my question, but I’m still waiting for an answer until now”, – added blogger.
Let us remember that access control at the border of ATO area was introduced on January 11, 2015. Then, the head of the ATO press center Roman Turovets said that, from this day on, it will be possible to pass through seven specific checkpoints, in and out of the area of anti-terrorist operation, only with special passes.
