In August the number of IDP’s in Ukraine increased by 26 thousand people

In August the number of registered IDP’s in Ukraine reached 912,86 thousand people, it is on 26,3 thousand people more, than in July this year. Such results in July were shown by the community initiative “Restoring Donbas” based on monthly dynamic monitoring of IDP’s.
The greatest number of the Donetsk and Luhansk region residents who left military conflict zone, took place in Luhansk (213,75 thousand people), Kharkov (185, 77 thousand people), Donetsk (110,8 thousand people), Dnepropetrovsk (83,77 thousand people) and Zaporozhye regions (64,47 thousand people). During the summer tendency of moving in these the regions have not been changed.
The most considerable gain of IDP’s in August in comparison with July is observed in Luhansk region (+13 thousand people) and in Kharkov region (+5,8 thousand people).
Kiev still takes the 7th place among regions of Ukraine on placement of IDP’s. ]For last two months (since July 1), the number of IDP’s in the capital remained invariable — officially in Kiev are registered a little more than 34 thousand people, who left Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The smallest number of IDP’s was placed in Chernovitsky (2,3 thousand people), Ternopol (2,5 thousand people) and in the Ivano-Frankivsk region (3,2 thousand people). IDP’s moved to this regions least actively. So, for last month in Chernovtsy 30 new immigrants are registered, in Ternopol — 60, in Ivano-Frankovsk – 59.
Among the western regions of Ukraine, the greatest number of official IDP’s was accepted by the Lviv region — 7,9 thousand people.
The second month in a row officially registered IDP’s leave Vinnytsia region (in July — 115, in August — 34) and Nikolaev region (in July — 203, in August — 114). Insignificant outflow of IDP’s in August was shown by Rovno, Hmelnitsky and Ternopol regions (61, 10 and 6 people respectively).
