Children from Donbas brought their letters about a peace to the residence of St. Nicholas

On Friday, December 18, there was a celebration of St. Nicholas Day in the building of the Centre of advisory help for IDPs, which was created by community initiative “Restoring Donbas”.
For the young visitors of the Centre, which are most often seek the help of volunteers, it was organized by a small pageant, sweet table and view Christmas cartoon. It was organized theatrical performance, cake buffet and watching of Christmas cartoons for the young visitors of the Centre.
In addition, children of IDPs prepared and sent (via special mailbox) their letters with the wishes. Next day, December 19, it was took to the residence of St. Nicholas.
The main desire of the majority of children was “peace in Donbas” and “prompt homecoming”.
Let us remind that community initiative announced charity action before the holidays “Marathon of kindness”. Its aim is assisting to families, who have taken the duties to save children from orphanage (during the peacetime), and save them from war during the hostilities. Every Ukrainian will have an opportunity to make a gift to Donbas families, which brought up orphans and children deprived of parental care, and were forced to become IDPs.
