IDPs started perpetual campaign under the Ministry of Social Policy

On June 13, IDPs and activists came to the Ministry of Social Policy in Kyiv and declared their five basic requirements to the management. In fact, it comes about the beginning of a perpetual campaign of IDPs. They stated that they would not leave until fulfilment of their requirements.
– We demand the abolition of №637 Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers in part of amendments from June 8, 2016, which will lead to complete suspension of all kinds of social benefits to citizens with IDP’s status. We demand a clear and transparent government program to provide IDPs with temporary housing, – Olesya Tsybulko stated on Facebook page of MP Natalia Veselova.
IDPs also demanded immediate provision all IPDs in need with temporary and single all-Ukrainian base housing for IDPs program.
Besides, IDPs hope to obtain compensation for lost housing and property due to hostilities and renew their opportunity to express their position during voting process.
IDPs want back their right to vote in elections at all levels. However, the most important demand is resignation of Pavlo Rozenko, Deputy Prime Minister.
Nowadays, the issue of IDPs is a great concern for the Parliament.
The main topic of discussion is occupied territories, namely, protection of human rights and prospects for reintegration.
It should be noted that on Wednesday, June 15, activists expect for receiving a report from the Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine on implementation of the recommendations of the parliamentary hearings.
Earlier, Iryna Gerashchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, said that the deterioration of the situation in Donbas does not allow to solve humanitarian issues.
