International Committee of the Red Cross launches form September a program to help families to find their missing relatives in Donbas reported by Alina Murzaeva, the head of the press-service of the offices of the International Red Cross in Kiev.
About half of missing persons registered by Red Cross are civil, not related to the armed conflict, namely the civilian population. Those families who applied to us, faced with a very difficult situation psychologically. They are in such a state that they are willing to have contact to psychics for help … because they do not have enough information about what may have happened to their relatives. It was a revelation to us. Therefore, we will start the program in September, with Severodonetsk, for assistance to families of missing persons. Our colleagues will provide escort services when families get psychological, financial and legal help from us, – Murzaeva said.
As it was reported before nearly five hundred people missed in Donbas.
