“People in Need” launches project to support people hsd lost their jobs due to the conflict

NGO “People in Need” (Czech Republic) will allocate 25 thousand UAH grant for business development in Donetsk region. The project is aimed to support people who had lost their main source of income during the conflict in the region.
“We could not create a new job for you, though we are ready to provide financial assistance to people who plan to start / restore / develop their own income-generating activities”, – reported by “People in Need”.
The project will cover the residents of Oleksandovsky, Bakhmutsky, Velikonovosilkivsky, Dobropilsky, Kostyantynivsky, Limansky, Mariinsky, Pokrovsky, Sloviansky and Yasynovatsky areas as well as in the cities of Kramatorsk, Selidovo, Toretsk, Uhledar.
Additionally, “People in Need” is also ready to allocate funds to entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses with the potential to expand and create new jobs for IDPs. This funding will be combined: according to the terms of the competition, entrepreneurs should invest in the project of at least 40% of the amount of the requested grant.
The maximum amount of funding is no more than 38 thousand UAH per an employee, the number of which should not exceed 4.
Earlier, it was reported that so-called “DPR” has banned the activities of NGO “People in Need”.
