Commenting on the negotiations of the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine in Minsk, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that many issues remained unresolved.
Calling the progress in the negotiations “small”, Steinmeier said that it was possible to agree that the exchange of prisoners between the Ukrainian army and so-called “DPR”, and the diversion of troops from limiting the line should be held before the end of the year.
At the same time, the Minister said, a road map to resolve the conflict in Donbas had not yet drawn up.
“There remain many open questions, but this evening was palpable desire on the part of Russia and Ukraine, that the work to be not only continued, but also brought to an end as soon as possible,” – Steinmeier said.
As it was reported earlier the OSCE police mission is not on the agenda of the summit in Hamburg.
