In Minsk agreed to solve the water problems in Luhansk

Trilateral Contact Group requested the subgroup on economic issues to organize the signing of a protocol that would allow unlocking Popasnjansky water utility in Luhansk region as soon as possible stated on Facebook of spokeswoman representative of Ukraine in the Tripartite Liaison Group, Darka Olifer.
“Trilateral Contact Group requested the subgroup on economic issues as soon as possible to arrange the signing of a protocol that would allow unlocking Popasnjansky water utility on the territory of Luhansk region,” – she wrote.
At the same time, the OSCE’s special representative in the tripartite contact group to resolve the situation in the east of Ukraine Saydik Martin said that the negotiators agreed to work out a solution for the supply of water in Donbas.
“We must find legal and technical solutions for water supply,” – said Saydik.
According to Victoria Talakina, a member of “DPR” group, the issue of cut off the uncontrolled territories of Luhansk region from the water supply system “remains critical”. She also noted that the issues of pension’s payments on temporarily uncontrolled territory of Donbas restore power lines and railway spans still remained unsolved. Talakina claims that Ukrainian side breaks the work of economic subgroups.
Earlier, it was reported that at the talks in Minsk there has been “little progress”.
