First Deputy Head of the OSCE SMM Ukraine Alexander Hug visited Donetsk filter station and urged the parties to take arms near the site.
“Weapons should not be near this object. Both sides of the conflict are to withdraw the weapon from Donetsk filtering station to continue its normal operation. It is the responsibility of both sides,” – Hug said.
He recalled that recently Donetsk filtration station was again damaged and were shortages of water supplies.
Hug said that thanks to the cooperation of the Joint Center of control and coordination (JCCC), as well as SMM who coordinated work of the staff of the filter station, and all these problems have been eliminated.
“But, unfortunately, civilian infrastructure damage during armed clashes still happen” – Hug admitted.
He added that most of these clashes took place due to the fact that the parties are too close to each other.
“This is a result that does not adhere to the agreements that were reached in Minsk. OSCE will register violations of agreements, but that the parties should cease fire and dilute the strength and the means “, – he said.
Earlier, it was reported that Avdiivka Coke plant fully reopened.
