The government made high schools to report on long-term absence of students-IDPs

According to the №964 Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine a high school where internally displaced person is trained, in case of his/hers long-term (over 60 days) not attending the lessons the high school is obliged to notify the department of social protection.
It is also established that to assign or to resume social benefits to an IDP studying at any level of education institutions (pre-school, school, vocational and high school) a department of social protection guided to the relevant body (institution) request to provide within 15 days confirmation of stay/absence of IDP at this institution.
In the case of non-confirmation of the fact of IDP being or studying the department of social protection can check the validity of the information stated as the actual place of residence of the displaced person.
Additionally, the Resolution determined that social benefits to IDPs can be made through the State Savings Bank by the written statements of a persons with 1 group disabilities and those who are not able to look after themselves and need constant assistance.
It was reported that a new stamp in IDP’s certificate is not required.
