IOM would provide financial assistance for winter needs to IDPs and the residents of Luhansk region living along the contact line.
As reported by IOM, the beneficiaries of the assistance are to be those affected by armed conflict, returnees, or internally displaced persons registered in one of the communities in Lugansk region in accordance with the list or those who had not received financial aid during the last 6 months from any of the humanitarian organizations.
The assistance can be provided to people with disabilities (1 and 2 group of disability; a child with disabilities under the age of 18 years), persons aged 70 +, families with 3 or more minor children, one-parent families.
Potential recipients can register for assistance by calling to the hot line of project. Then they must pass an interview, on the basis of which a final decision to grant or not to grant financial assistance.
