Alexander Hug, First Deputy Chairman of the Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, announced that all roads crossing the contact line are to be functional.
Hug noticed that the road that connected Kominternove (South of Donetsk region) and the city of Mariupol, locked on both sides of minefields.
All the roads that cross the contact line, which are closed for now, should be open, – he said.
As an example, Hug led road connecting Kominternove and Mariupol, where the OSCE patrol tried to pass the other days.
We tested the freedom of movement, and we tried to go from Kominternove (Pikuza) to Mariupol. Thus, we could not do it from any side of the contact line. Since both parties were blocking the road, installing there anti-tank mines, – he said.
Representatives from “DPR” referred to the absence of orders for mine clearance. Deputy chairman of the OSCE SMM recalled that the sixth paragraph of the Minsk memorandum said about unquestioning clearance without any clarifications.
Donbas threatened reportedly to ecological disaster.
