UNDP to conduct trainings on Business Development for IDPs

Internally displaced people have an opportunity to attend free training courses on business development. UNDP conducts 5-day trainings staring on 11 March till 27 March in 7 cities: Kyev, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Mariupol, Kramatorsk and Sievierodonetsk according to the following schedule.
To participate in the training session could:
• private entrepreneurs, their employees and their teams, who received business grants from the UNDP or applied to these business grants;
• participants who were involved in the activities funded by the Government of the United Kingdom (in particular, training in entrepreneurship, information and advisory activities);
• representatives of the business infrastructure at the regional level, which have influence on the development of small and medium-sized businesses;
• IDPs and the local population of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
UNDP covers all types of costs associated with participation in training: travel costs from the place of residence (within the region); provided accommodation for the duration of the period of training; 3 meals a day.
The residents of “grey zone” are preferable for the training. Danish Refugee Council reportedly to help in the reconstruction of houses affected by the war in Donbas.
