The events of the last few months around the blockade in Donbas reflect inability of the authorities to control the situation stated Alexander Klimenko , the leader of “Uspishna Kraina” party and the founder of the public initiative “Restoring Donbas” on his Facebook page.
“Judging by the events of the last days, i.e. battles around the blockade in Donbas, the seizure of state institutions in Western Ukraine, evening bacchanalia on the Maydan and at branches of private banks, no one manages Ukraine. And in this muddy water everyone catches his fish, – the politician wrote.
The leader of the “Uspishna Kraїna” indicates contradictions in the actions of the authorities regarding the blockade of Donbas. Poroshenko once said that the blockade of the occupied part Donbas had no sense as the country lost 3.5 billion of foreign exchange earnings, jobs.
Groysman agreed with the President. In a few days, they initiated the blockade themselves. The German Foreign Ministry has already made a statement on this matter and condemned the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to blockade the goods movement over the contact line.
Klimenko notes that today the Ukrainian society does not have honest answers to two simple questions: who benefits from it and who suffers from it. According to Klimenko today’s situation around the Donbas is beneficial to the Ukrainian oligarchs, who dictate to both the authorities and the radicals.
“What do we see now in the terms of the blockade is the redistribution of influence in the energy sector. The fact that in this dirty backstage struggle a huge piece of “energetic pie” had been cut off no one cared”, the politician writes. Klimenko emphasizes that, first of all, average Ukrainian citizens would suffer from the blockade”.
The consequence of the “blockade” would be another increase in electricity tariffs, because the winner in the undercover competition would need to compensate his expenses for “squeezing” assets. Until they took everything back” the politician summed up.
