Today people who live close to the contact line do not have access to vital services, suffer most from military operations in Donbas stated by Barbara Manzi, the head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine, while communicating with journalists.
– People living along the contact line suffer the most from the military conflict, so satisfying basic problems is a vital necessity for them,- Manzi said.
She also noted that 4 million people need help because of the military conflict in eastern Ukraine. The most important problem for these people, Manzi noted, was the lack of food, water, safety and access to medical care.
The Red Cross reportedly assisted to more than a million Ukrainians who suffered because of the war in Donbas.
