Two villages to remain without electricity for almost a year

Bakhmutka and Zhovanka located in the grey zone of Donetsk region, still remain without power supply for a year due to constant fighting reported by activists of the Kharkiv Human Rights Group, who visited the front-line towns and villages.
According to the member of the human rights group Yana Smelyanskaya, the situation in Bakhmutka and Zhovank is almost the worst along the entire contact line.
– These are probably the most problematic settlements among all that we visited. People do not have electricity for 10 months. They’ve got drinking water only the one brought by the Red Cross: 50 liters per family once a week, – she said.
