IOM and the EU to assist in developing of professional skills

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) launches a project “Assisting in addressing the problems of IDPs and the conflict-affected population in Ukraine”. The project is being implemented jointly with the Public Union “Program for the promotion of the revival and integration of the East of Ukraine” by the support of the European Union.
The project aims to develop professional skills, self-employment and small business among the affected by the conflict population in the east of Ukraine covering Sloviansk and Kyiv.
All participants of the project will take part in trainings on self-employment, small business and professional orientation. Participants could have individual consultations on the formation of individual business plans to receive grants for purchasing equipment to start their own business or pay bills for training.
IDPs, local residents belonging to vulnerable categories of the population aged 18 to 60 can apply to develop professional skills and to start their own business.
