Since the beginning of the war 42 children died in Donbas from explosions on mines, 109 more had been wounded reported by Sergei Zubarevsky, the head of the coordinating group on mine action of the headquarters of the ATO,.
According to him, as of today the most dangerous places are the settlements near the contact line along the so-called “gray zone”, since virtually any place on either side of the line of delimitation can be a zone of risk.
– Since the beginning of the war, 42 children have died, 109 others have been injured. During four months of this year, due to careless handling of ammunition, six people were killed, three were injured, – Zubarevsky said.
As reported before the demining of Donbas will take more than 10 years.
