Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Kirovohrad regions are leading the outflow of IDPs

IDPs actively leave the eastern regions of Ukraine. The regions that lead the outflow of IDPs are the Zaporizhye, Donetsk and Kirovohrad regions. In general, since the beginning of the year only from these three regions more than 64 thousand IDPs had withdrawn from registration said in the analysis of the resource “Word and Deal”.
The largest number of IDPs (32,688 people) left Zaporizhye region, followed by Donetsk (with the loss of 23,865 IDPs) and Kirovohrad (5,234 IDPs) in the second place.
At the same time, Kyiv shows the fastest growth in the number of internally displaced persons: since the beginning of the year, 6,044 IDPs have moved to Kyev. 1816 IDPs registered in Kharkiv region, in 1795 – in Kyev region.
As before, the largest number of IDPs live on the controlled parts of Donetsk (almost 533,000 people) and Luhansk (more than 290,000 people) regions.
